Amanda Long

Amanda did a great job and deserves recognition for jumping into the middle of the Mobile Pre-Login team’s UX research program, and executing it with outstanding results. Her mission was not an easy one. She had to join a team that already had conducted multiple UX research tests, and was busy deploying new research on a new version of the user experience based on prior results. She had to hit the ground running. She handled it all extremely well. The readout went flawlessly, the team was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the output, and they are using her analysis to revise next iterations of the mobile pre-login experience. Good job Amanda, you’re well deserving of recognition for going above and beyond.

I brought Amanda on the Maternal Monitoring Project in January of 2019. She has been an incredible asset! She is outgoing, hilarious, and self motivated. She has presented great insights to make the app better and I highly recommend her for any user research position- I wish I could hire her for full time! In addition, she’s a creative individual, so if you need someone who thinks outside of the box, she’s the one you’d want.

I worked alongside Amanda on the Maternal Monitoring App in 2019. During this time, she conducted user research, testing, and analysis which provided valuable insights to the users’ needs. Amanda’s natural charisma allows her to be an effective user researcher, putting users at ease to open up to her. Her curiosity drives the conversation forward, revealing complex insights of the product. She effectively analyzes and communicates these findings to the team, which contributed greatly to the solutions implemented into the app. Amanda is always bringing positivity to any challenge and engaging wholeheartedly in her conversations with everyone. She is a great addition to any team lucky enough to have her.

I worked with Amanda during her internship at Human Interfaces in 2018 and have exclusively wonderful things to say about her. Amanda has a great work ethic, is eager to help in any way she is able, and consistently displays high-level thinking and problem-solving skills that would make her an asset to any organization lucky enough to have her. During her time at Human Interfaces, Amanda tackled a variety of projects ranging from conducting and analyzing UX studies to identifying and interacting with research participants. In each situation, Amanda displayed an unflappable positive attitude, an inquisitive mind, and an ability to go above and beyond the requirements of any task that was set to her.
